I’m heading up, up and away to Edinburgh this weekend with the hubby. We were just having breakfast at the airport before we flew and of course I remembered to pack my vintage tinted specs, on the prowl for inspiration. And out of the corner of my eye I spotted my target! The Pub and Kitchen Restaurant (Heathrow Terminal 1) had this stack of vintage trunks outside. I fell in love there and then. My poor little suitcase was starring up at me as I’d fallen for someone new.
The whole restaurant was very rustic, hangers hung on the wall, old maps printed all with a definitive vintage travel theme. I love how they’ve embraced their environment and encouraging their customers to head back in time before heading somewhere new.
